Composites Centre Sweden
Composites Centre Sverige är en LTU och Swerea SICOMP samarbete som syftar till att främja forskning och utbildning i kompositmaterial och tillverkning.
The centre supports composite research with LTU as well as coordinating graduate and post-graduate courses in the different aspect of composite education. Swerea SICOMP is Sweden's research institute for composites working on research and manufacturing of these materials. It has close industrial ties both with the composite industry in Sweden and in Europe. The centre represents the long standing and close collaboration that exists between LTU and Swerea SICOMP.
The work at the centre supports research, education and innovation and has the has the following aims:
Research

- to increase the research in and between the institutions
- to Drive industrial projects

- Establish an internationally renowned centre for composites education

- Create high technology spin-off companies
- Technology insertion in existing companies
