Demonstration of multigas exhaust measurements
The project is a demonstration and investigation project in which methodology and equipment for field measurements of regulated engine emissions are being investigated. A survey and some marketing research are also being done to determine the level of interest in exhaust emission tests in the region.
The project is run in cooperation with ETC, Piteå, a commercial partner with expertise in exhaust emission measurements. ETC has during the project invested in emission equipment that can be used as a service for the automotive companies. A demonstration measurement series has been carried out on cold-start exhausts from a couple of cars.
The project was initiated by Arctic Falls and Mercedes AMG and is run by the Division of Sound & Vibration in cooperation with ETC. Icemakers have also expressed an interest in presenting the service to their customers. Finalising the project is done in cooperation with Icemakers. Colmis will also be invited to participate.
