- Its value when it is created
- Does the value change at a certain time?
- Should some of the information be preserved for a long period?
- If not, when it can be deleted?

- Create automated processes that preserve information in different ways/on various data media according to how it is classified. Classify the material already when it´s created
- Automatic transfer to other storage media at time for value reduction
- Develop methods to mark if digital objects shall be kept for long time or not, already at creation
- Mark material that shall not be kept for long-term with "best-before date" and create methods to automatically delete when time is in
