Estonia Collection
Estonia collection was created in memory of the 852 persons who died when M/S Estonia sank in 1994. The present government wants to move responsibility to the National Archives in Sweden and its unit Military Archives.
Crawl and analysis in CAST
National Archives wanted LDP Center to use the prototype CAST to collect and analyze the website Estoinasamlingen (Estonia collection). The tool ran 1 day and 22 hours on low load. Totally 3.6 GB data was crawled, collected in 36 WARC files.
After collecting, the files were analysed in CAST on file and version level. The results will be used by National Archives in order to make the Estonia collection more suitable for preservation over time.
