Development of gender equality within the Faste Laboratory

The project concerns the development of gender equality within the Faste Laboratory, a VINNOVA Centre of Excellence. The Faste Laboratory's partners include eight Swedish industrial companies and Luleå University of Technology (LTU). The purpose of the project is to realize a greater degree of gender equality and competence development for the promotion of gender equality within the Faste Laboratory with an aim to broadening the recruitment base for the member companies and, thereby, ultimately contributing to greater economic growth and sustainable development in society.

By improving the level of gender knowledge and awareness and gender equality, it is expected that an innovative approach to new product and market development will emerge. The project is organized in collaboration with gender equality actors from the member companies and LTU. The project combines gender perspectives and interactive research perspectives to enable sustainable processes for change.
