
Crisis Centre of Expertise is part of the Structural Funds project Nordic Safety and Security, which is run by the universities in Luleå and Umeå. The project is financed by the Norrbotten County Council and County Board of Norrbotten.

Suddenly, it happens that should not happen - a co-worker becomes a victim of violence or intimidation at work, an employee's spouse or daughter dies, an employee becomes seriously ill. By an organization is well prepared to deal with stress, crises and grief reactions, minimize emotional, physical and economic damage to the individual, the organization and its customers. Kris Competence Center is now offering a one day training on crisis aid under the leadership of Sara Hedrenius, (survivors from the Estonia).
Training is intended for all persons in the service is working to respond to people in vulnerable situations, including businesses, organizations and agencies that are planning a crisis support organization under AFS 1999:7.
The training provided practical tools for organizing and providing support to victims of crisis. The program includes elements from the Red Cross both courses psychological first aid and long-term support in times of crisis:
Training methodology is based on active participation from the participants through practical exercises.
Participation fee: 1600 SEK excluding VAT. The fee includes morning and afternoon coffee, lunch, training materials and certificate of completion of training
