For Isabella Bjorkman is the dream object not the most beautiful or expensive house. She wants to help people find a place that really suits them, regardless of price range.
— The situation that occurs between buyer and seller when both are happy and satisfied, that is the most valuable.
The interest in economy has always been a big part of Isabella, but just sitting in an office is nothing for her. She wants a variety in her work and to meet many people. She took the decision when she was twelve years old:
— I'll be an estate agent when I grow up!
After some time in Stockholm and Falköping Isabella returned to her home town. In autumn 2011 she began the Higher Education Diploma Programme in Real Estate Brokerage at LTU. She lives in Piteå, about an hour with car from Luleå. The class is mixed. Most people come from completely different parts of Sweden and live near the campus.
— It gives us a great cohesion. When everyone moves to a new place, you are anxious to get to know new people.
So far, she has completed courses in building technique, law and marketing. Right now she is studying tax law and introductory financial accounting.
— Many people believe that we learn to sell houses the first thing we do, but we need many basic skills before we can go out and do it. The law course was truly rewarding. To learn how to use the statute book in different situations. It is a course that is good for everyone.
Her goal right now is to graduate, get a job that she enjoys and have balance in life. She has horses and dressage as a major hobby and wants to continue with that.
— The dream is to sell horse farms.
What would you say to those thinking of applying to this programme in Luleå?
— APPLY! What's the worst that could happen? That you feel it was nothing for you? You have to dare to win, says the rider and smiles.
