Bachelor of Arts Degree in Acting
Theatre Academy of Luleå belongs to the Department of Arts, Communication and Learning. The program started in 1996 as a unique collaboration between Luleå University of Technology and Norrbottensteatern. As a student at the school, you have daily contact with practical theater work through the school's physical location, directly adjacent to Norrbottensteatern. The Academy trains actors for theater, television, film and radio. The main topic at the acting program, Theatrical production and other basic subjects are Voice and speech, body and movement, singing and theory. All different parts of education aimed at the aspiring actor should acquire knowledge and skills to independently solve scenic points, both in a cast and on their own.
