Todd Booth - Teacher of the Year 2011

Every year an award for commendable works of teaching, dedication to students and for excellent teaching skills is given to a teacher by students at Luleå Student Union. The prize for the Teacher of the Year 2011 award is Todd Booth - Research Engineer and Teacher at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering. Todd Booth has taught many Information Security courses.

The motivation is:

"Todd is always available for his students, without distinction between those in his classroom and those studying from afar. His lectures are filled with personality and his joy for teaching.

Students look up to him as a source of inspiration and look forward to his lectures. He is also renowned to possess a great ability to share his knowledge to all who might want it.

He is committed, flexible and listens to his students. However he is not afraid to make demands of his students to bring out the best in each and every one of them.

His vision is to give his students “super service” and to make sure that his courses are the best courses they attend during their time as students. This makes him a worthy winner of the award Teacher of the year 2011."

In the autumn of 2011 Todd Booth will be teaching two courses

Both courses are taught in English and are distance learning.
