The Honeycomb

Student Work - Design Prototype Pavilion

The honey cone like Multi-Functional-Pavilion is the product of the architecture studio course, Design & Making, taught by Mania Aghaei Meibodi together with Hamia Aghaiemeybodi.

We are thankful in particular for the unexpected amount of work and effort put into this project from the students Jonas Haraldsson, Lars Pettersson, Susanne Segerstein, Ante Lundgren, Karin Eknor, Emma Berggren, Oliver Sjöberg and Carl-Johan Carlsson.

We also want to thank colleagues, Ulf Stenman at Complab and Gustav Nordström at Timber Construction group for their extraordinary help with upgrading the CNC-machine, finding suitable materials and adjusting them. Finally many thank to Charlotta.M.Johansson the head of Architecture research group and Architect Hans Walloschke for enabling the realization of this course.
