New student apartments available in fall 2012
In September, 65 new apartments on the popular Klintbacken in Lulea will be available for students. Klintbacken is just 10 minutes by bike from Luleå city center and within walking distance of Luleå University of Technology.
The construction of student housing in Lulea continues on coveted Klintbacken. In November 2011 was 65 new apartments completed in the new student housing area. In December was another 65ready to move into. Now, given that 65 apartments are distributed to students at the semester starting in 2012.
- We begin to convey the 65 new apartments in September 2012, says Annelie Mettävainio, at Student Services at the Luleå University of Technology.
In Luleå, all student housing within is within walking distance to the university. Students can stay in the corridor, duplicate, in an apartment or in a part of an apartment. Some of the apartments are furnished and include internet access in all student apartments.
At the semester starting in 2012, the population of student apartments are 960 owned by Lindbäcks Construction, and about 1600 owned by Lulebo.
- My suggestion is to start looking for accommodation in time, for there are many students who compete for student housing, says Annelie Mettävainio.
There are two ways to search student: Lulebo by Student service. Student apartments are located at the university or with up to 20 minutes walking distance. Student Services also conveys second-hand apartments and lodgings.
