Course registration

As a student at Luleå University of technology you have to register to confirm that you claim your place as a student. You then have the right to follow the course, get access to Fronter and to write your exams.

Course Registration

is normally done in the first five days of the quarter if the department has not decided otherwise.

You log in with your user account in My LTU, where there is more information about how you register.

If you have been recently admitted to the course and have not had the opportunity to register during the first week, contact Student Reception Desk or Student Services on your campus.

If you have conditions to your admission contact Student reception desk or Student Services on your campus.

Re-registration of courses

If you are already registered on a course that you read earlier but did not finish, you have the opportunity to attend classes at a later time when the course is offered. To do this, the department must accept that there is a vacant position available in the course. If there is they will do a re-registration.

It is only when you want to attend the classes that you need to be re-registered. Turn to Student Reception Desk or Student Services on your campus if you want to be re-registered for a course. The same goes for distance students.

You do not need to be re-registered on the course to get access to the course room in Fronter, ask someone at the Student Reception Desk or Student Services on your campus to give you access to the current course room. You do not need to be re-registered for the course in order to register for the exam.
