Bio
Dr. Faez Sayahi is an Adjunct Professor at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) and a Senior Dam Engineer at LKAB, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering and Concrete Technology and a master’s degree in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
With more than 18 years of experience spanning academia and industry Dr. Sayahi has authored and co-authored scientific publications in the fields of geotechnical engineering and cement-based materials and is actively involved in the supervision of PhD students and research projects related to tailings behavior, dam safety, and sustainable infrastructure. His research interests include constitutive modeling, internal cementitious materials, and the development of digital tools and digital twins for infrastructure monitoring.
His work emphasizes bridging theory and practice to enhance safety, sustainability, and innovation in large-scale infrastructure.
