Pension and insurance

Your pension protection consists of three components.

  1.  The base consists of the National Retirement Pension, to which everyone is entitled. It is paid out by the Swedish Pensions Agency. The National Retirement Pension is guaranteed and is included in the Swedish Social Security System. The Swedish Pensions Agency issues individual information annually, which includes a preliminary calculation in the ‘orange envelope’. Questions can be answered by your local Pensions Agency.
  2. Your employer provides you with supplementary protection in the form of an occupational pension. The National Government Employee Pensions Board (SPV) manages your occupational pension and other agreement benefits, such as Group Life Insurance.
  3. You can choose to further fortify your pension through a private pension insurance plan, for example Kåpan Plus.
