The Division of Business Administration and Industrial Engineering is organized into the disciplines of Industrial Marketing, Accounting and control, Quality Technology and Management, Industrial Logistics, E-commerce and Environmental Management. In the division approximately 40 employees are engaged in research, teaching and interaction with society.
The research, which is exclusively organization-oriented, is mostly applied and conducted in close cooperation with companies and other organizations. Research as well as teaching is conducted in both the engineering sector and the social science sector. The teaching in the division is comprehensive and is central to both the Master Programme in Industrial and Engineering Management and the Master Programme in Business and Economics.
