In media: Red Cross secretary-general an LTU alumni
Red Cross secretary-general Ulrika Årehed Kågström has an economics degree from Luleå University of Technology. The Swedish magazine Chef now writes about her leadership.
Ulrika Årehed Kågström said yes to the work in June 2010. The organization was under fire and the task was not easy. But to remain calm in chaotic situations is described as her strong suit. And she never leaves a co-worker in the lurch.
– As a manager, I try to lead by the Red Cross values. Then I have to, just like the organization, be there for those who need support, says Ulrika Årehed Kågström to the magazine Chef.
