ALMI student scholarship for the interaction of the thesis with the creative industries
As a student at the KKL Piteå you now have the opportunity to apply for a ALMI thesis scholarship for cooperation with the creative industries. industries (previous experience industry) counts including design, film and photography, art, literature, media, performing arts, tourism and hospitality industry, and the scholarship focus on the educations offered at the Division of Media, Sound Engineering and Experience Production. ALMI;s goal is to support business competitiveness and growth in Norrbotten (www.almi.se/nord/).
The scholarship covers 15 000: - and distributed before the commencement of the thesis. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and facilitate cooperation with the creative industry. You can be more than a student who together apply for the scholarship if you co-write your thesis. The following criteria apply to the application:
1) You must in your thesis work cooperate with a companie or organisation in the creative industries (including tourism industry) in Norrbotten
2) The thesis shall be aimed at business development and innovation which may be to develop your own own business idea, an innovative concept development, improvement of existing operations or other development in the industry.
3) To the application you must attach a letter of intent of your collaborartion with a company / organization that has approved the work and a brief explanation of the purpose and goals of the thesis.
The application is submitted on a special apllication form no later than December 1 to the Registrator at KKL Piteå.
Fellow appointed not later than 15th January, after which the scholarship can be withdrawn. The formal scholarship award announcement is given at the closing ceremony in May.
