Division of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering

The Division of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering (GEE) consists of the research disciplines Applied Geology, Exploration Geophysics, Ore Geology and Waste Science and Technology.

Our research and education cover formation of ores and other mineral resources, methods to find ores and other mineral resources and sustainable management of mone waste. Water and environmental issues and sustainable management of yhe societ´s flows of waste and residues are also important.

The number of employees is approximately 55

Research centers / big research: Hjalmar Lundbom Research Center, HLRC, Centre of Advanced Mining and Metallurgy, Camm - Also involving other Divisions.
