Study with us M.Sc in engineering physics and electrical engineering, computer science, space technology or systems analyst. We also run an international Master's course, SpaceMaster, for the Erasmus Mundus cooperation.

We are 160 people including 60 students, 55 teachers and researchers. You will find us in the A-building on campus in Luleå, the Space Campus in Kiruna, Skellefteå campus and at Skapa in Boden.

LTU starts collab with Swedish Kraftnät

Disturbances in the Swedish grid regularly effects equipment at energy producers which can lead to production stoppages. The Swedish authority Svenska Kraftnät is now initiating a joint effort with Luleå University of Technology worth 15 million Swedish kronor to solve the problem.

SATIN Live Demo at Conference

Ph.D student Juwel Rana developed a social app live using SATIN during a workshop at the World Wide Web Conference in Rio De Janeiro. The experiment attracted the attention of several attendees who inquired about a potential commercial use for SATIN products.

As final for the Mechatronics course a robotic line following competition was held at Department of Computer Science, Space and Electrical Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. The winner was the robot Flux and its team of five students.
