LTU Master Thesis students at Monash

Ramin Gilani finished his BSc in Automotive System Engineering at Luleå University of Technology in 2010 and published his thesis work regarding drivetrain independent energy recovery systems in early 2011.

He is now finishing his Master’s Thesis in mechanical engineering at Monash University’s formula SAE team at Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His examiner at Luleå University of Technology is Professor Sverker Fredriksson and supervisor at Monash University is Dr Scott Wordley. 

Ramin is building and optimising a simulation model of the 2011 formula SAE engine. Besides working on his project Ramin is building parts for the 2011 formula SAE car and tutoring CAD.

Mattias Häggkvist has done Thesis work at Monash School of Mathematical Sciences. His supervisor was Professor Christian Jakob.

Ola Byström has done Thesis work at Monash Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering. His supervisor was Dr. Le Nguyen Binh.

Sandra Sjölund has finished her Thesis work "Sustainable building in Australia and Sweden - a comparative study of passive building techniques " at Monash Department of Architecture. Her supervisor was Professor Shane Murray.

Martin Johansson has done Thesis work,  "Experimental study in the use of rear mounted oscillating flaps on a truck-trailer", in the area of fluid dynamics at Monash Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His supervisor was Professor John Sheridan.
