First half of 2013 will be the foundation for a major initiative of the Luleå University of Technology (LTU) in renewable energy supported by funding from the Swedish Energy Agency. Phase 2 is scheduled for another 2.5 years and efforts are broad research on "green fuels". With this as the basic planning the university will generate projects for a total of just over a quarter of a billion (SEK).
Researchers at Luleå University of Technology receive a grant from the Swedish Energy Agency to develop processes for large scale verification of butyric acid based on biomass. Researchers at Luleå University of Technology have managed to find a cost effective way to purify synthesis gas from carbon dioxide by the so-called zeolitmembran.
