Academic ceremony 2009
Each year in november Luleå University of Technology arrange a ceremony of conferment of doctor's degrees and inauguration of new professors.
New doctorates and honorary doctorates are conferred this day. New professors are installed and new consulting professors may receive a diploma. Academic prizes and scholarships awarded. This year is also the installation of the Vice-Chancellor.
The ceremony is followed by a banquet in the Academica, STUK.
The 2009 academic ceremony takes place on Saturday 7 November.
