Academic ceremony 2010
Each year in november Luleå University of Technology arrange a ceremony of conferment of doctor's degrees and inauguration of new professors.
New doctorates and honorary doctorates are conferred this day. New professors are installed and new consulting professors may receive a diploma. Academic prizes and scholarships awarded. This year is also the installation of the Vice-Chancellor.
The ceremony is followed by a banquet in the STUK.
The 2010 academic ceremony takes place on Saturday 13 November.
Honorary Doctors lectures will take place on Friday 12 November.
