EISLAB – our research
EISLAB hosts two research subjects, Industrial Electronics and Embedded Systems. We have divided theses two research topics into five research areas: Sensor Systems, Electronic Design, Embedded EMC, Electronics Production and EIS Architecture.
EISLAB is contributing to industry and companies in their efforts in developing new and profitable products. This is achieved by channeling research results to the companies own research and development organisations.

- New sensor and control systems for process industries (pulp and paper, mining, steel)
- Innovations for increased safety and integrity for the elderly and disabled
- Better navigation systems for cars, trucks and wheel chairs
- Advanced technology for car testing (CASTT).
- Sensors and communication systems for intelligent roads (iRoad)
- Systems for remote health care (CMTF)
- Development and testing of new automotive technology
