LANDFILLS OF HAZARDOUS WASTE AND ITS IMPLICATIONS ON HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT: Iraqi uranium research in Luleå.

On 15-17 November nursed Sven Knutsson and Nadhir Al-Ansari of the conference landfills of Hazardous Waste and Its Implications on Health and Environment - a collaboration that includes the Karolinska Institutet, FOI / CBRN Defence & Security and the Iraqi government. Ministers, Presidents and Ambassadors from the Iraqi government participated. The conference concerned the effects of war, focusing on residues from weapons and ammunition that are contaminated by depleted uranium. How can it be isolated and disposed of?
