Medical technology is an industry and an interdisciplinary research field with rapid development. Umeå University and Luleå University has very good skills in the area and will be with and lead the development. That's why universities jointly established the Center for Biomedical Engineering and Physics. Collaboration takes place with such counties in north-and Västerbotten, and industries and businesses. The goal is practices, products and services for better and safer care.
