The project aims to attract more students in Europe to welding courses similar to those now available at Swedish schools. ACCESSWELD is a Leonardo da Vinci project co-funded by the EU Commission´s Lifelong Learning Programme.
The project aims to develop efficient value chains in two Swedish manufacturing companies consortia for improved ecological and economic competitiveness with the support of a generalizable, innovative collaboration platform.

The project has the overall objective to develop a competitive, regional manufacturing industry by iimproved welding technology. In the projecet we shall:
- arrange a number of seminars where experts meet Swedish and Finnish SME companies.
- Introduce a number of demonstrators in connection with welding
- Implement a number of policies in the participating companies that attempt to realize the agenda related to the demonstrator.
