Construction industry under the microscope
Scientists Helena Johnsson and Kajsa Simu are studying the quality of Swedish construction. They see a trend towards increased collaboration and improved communication between all providers in the construction process as necessary. Otherwise Swedish building industry won´t cope with the fierce competition from foreign construction companies. Old and attached structures are, however, major obstacles to change.
