Urban Water Engineering covers all aspects of urban water systems (stormwater, drinking water and waste water) with respect to collection, transport, treatment and organization / planning. Research in this field aims at structures for good economy and environment, wise use of resources and care for society's safety and health.
Quantity and quality issues relating to storm water, snow run-off, wastewater and drinking water in various stages of treatment are looked into.
Issues regarding climate impact on water and wastewater systems are essential, as is the quest for further areas of application of the knowledge gained in our subject.
