The link between a digital model and a physical model is important in order to get a good understanding of the form and appearance of a product. In our prototype lab we have the possibility to take a physical model and, with the help of 3D scanning, digitize it for further work in a CAD system and also, with the help of both Rapid Prototyping and milling, produce a physical model from a digital model created in a CAD system
