Swedish as a Foreign Language
Our courses in Swedish as a Foreign Language are aimed at those of you who do not have Swedish as your first language and who have upper secondary school qualifications from your native country. We offer courses from Beginners to Advanced. These courses are part-time (50%), so they can be combined with other university courses.
The courses are 60 ECTS altogether and they will take four semesters to complete if you start as a beginner. If you receive a Pass grade for the advanced level Swedish then this will qualify you for university studies (equivalent to TISUS). If you have done courses in Swedish previously and are not sure of your level, then we can advise you about the most suitable course.
