I graduated as a Civil Engineer with specialization in rock engineering and rock mechanics in December 1999. My thesis concerned rock slope stability and blasting.
My lic.seminar concerning rock mass classification and failure criteria took place 2004th
2008 I presented my Doctoral Thesis in the subject of rock mechanics, focusing on hard rock mass strength, failure, fallout and numerical analysis.
Since the fall of 2010, I am employed as a lecturer within the research subject Rock mechanics and Rock Engineering at the division of Mining and Geotechnical Engineering.
In addition I am responsible for coordinating all recruitment activities of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering
.
In autumn 2011, I participated in one of the feasibilitystudies for SMIFU (WP12 Resource characterization) and started my HLRC project.
During spring 2012, I continued my feasibility study (with funding from HLRC) concerning validation of numerical analyzes.
I am an examiner for civil and mining engineering T0013B, Fundamentals of Rock Mechanics T7001B, Introduction to Rock Mechanics T0014B and tunneling T7021B
By autumn 2013, I will also be examiner for practical rock mechanics that are read by our students in the Berganläggningsteknik program (3-year education).
In addition to ordinary courses at the university, I teach in contract courses for LKAB.
