I was born in Skellefteå, 1978, and moved to Luleå for studies in 1997. I graduated from the Master of Science program in Engineering Physics in 2002. During the last semester I did the work for my master thesis at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Coming back to Luleå, I started my PhD studies in signal processing. During the first year and a half, my research focused on blind signal processing, but now my main research interest is LDPC coding. In 2005, I had the opportunity to visit the coding group at University of Arizona in Tucson, US.
