Communications by email and telephone

All students are given e-mail access free-of-charge. This is the most used mode of communication both domestically and internationally. Students have access to coin/card telephones in public building and in their student corridors.

Sending packages in advance

You may wish to send personal belongings before departure. Items should be addressed in your name c/o International Office, Lulea University of Technology, SE-971 87 Lulea, Sweden

NOTE!!! Only small packages should be mailed by airmail to any university address. Large boxes that are airmailed to the university are not handled by the Swedish postal service when they arrive in Lulea. They are handled by local shipping companies which charge very high shipping and storage rates, sometimes higher than the international postage.
