In the Division of Energy Engineering, education in and research on energy technology are conducted. We offer a varied range of courses covering anything from basic thermodynamic processes to more advanced applications. Our courses are chiefly aimed at students in the Sustainable Energy Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Programme, but they can also be studied by other students with a suitable educational background. In the autumn of 2009 the Master Programme “Sustainable Energy Engineering” was started.
Research in the Division is divided into the areas of thermochemical energy conversion and process inte-gration/systems analysis.
In our activities we combine work at systems/components level with detailed studies of the energy con-version process. Our research is often conducted in collaboration with companies and other interested parties and, perhaps first and foremost, together with colleagues from industry, various universities and research institutes.
You too are welcome to take part!
