Centrum för tillämpad malmgeologi
The centre for applied ore studies is set up by Luleå University of Technology and the Swedish mining and exploration industry in order to organize applied research related to exploration.

CTMG is run by a board consisting of members from industry (the chair person should be from industry) and academia with a majority of members from industry. The board prioritized and initiate new project proposals.
CTMG is currently developing a new research programme on 4D geological modelling of mining areas. A first project funded by VINNOVA, Boliden and Lundin Mining is aiming at building 4-dimensional models of parts of the Skellefte districts, northern Sweden. Research partners are: Luleå University, Uppsala University and Geovista together with the two industry partners.

We are currently looking for a post doc in structural geology/tectonic (Luleå University) and PhD-students in geology (Luleå University), geophysics (Luleå University) seismics (Uppsala University).
