The research group in Onboard Space Systems has developed a new instrument, a frictionless platform, for replicating how a spacecraft moves in orbit. The aim is to make future space missions safer and more fuel-efficient.
A scientist at Luleå University of Technlogy is one of the persons behind the discovery of a brand new mineral, which has now been named zinkgruvanit. "Every time we discover something new in nature, it adds knowledge about how atoms can be arranged in minerals and materials.
