The hydrogen initiatives in northern Sweden at Sweden Innovation Days

Rikard Gebart, Manager for Luleå University of Technology's hydrogen initiative CH2ESS, Michael Nilsson, CDT and Kentaro Umeki, professor of Energy Engineering, at Luleå University of Technology will speak on 18 January at Sweden Innovation Days.

"There are an incredible number of exciting things happening in the fireld of energy and hydrogen in Norrbotten right now. The plans will require thousands of new engineers and technicians. In order to match the needs, we must both examine more people with the right skills from Luleå University of Technology and attract qualified staff from the rest of Sweden and the rest of the world. This seminar is a way to reach out about what is happening here right now and what will happen in the future, Rikard Gebart says, professor of Energy Engineering  and Director for Luleå University of Technology's hydrogen initiative CH2ESS.

Presentation at Sweden Innovation Days

At Sweden Innovation Days on 18 January, Rikard Gebart, together with Michael Nilsson, CDT and Kentaro Umeki, professor of Energy Engineering, at Luleå University of Technology, will talk about the industrial hydrogen projects in northern Sweden and how we work to attract qualified staff, at Sweden Innovation Days on 18 January. The presentation is titled " Join the pioneers in the north: potential of Green electricity and H 2, The pioneers - the people and products showing we're getting there ". Other participants are among others are Volvo Group and H2 Green Steel.

Sweden Innovation Days is a free four-day digital conference on January 17-20 with a focus on how innovation can help achieve the UN Agenda 2030’s Global Goals. It will bring together actors from all over the world to share knowledge and best practices to foster collaborative innovation and tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges. The event is organized by Vinnova - Sweden’s Innovation Agency, in collaboration with AI Sweden, Energimyndigheten - the Swedish Energy Agency and Ignite Sweden.
