Background, purpose

If timber suppliers to become adept at delivering the houses, issues dealing with air tightness of the building envelope is managed. From an earlier study it was concluded that even very small (5 mm) leaks provides a measurable deterioration of the air tightness. The project aims to build and test the detailed solutions used in wooden construction with regard to air tightness. By documenting detailed solutions to their impact on the overall air tightness of the building determined. The goal is to control the production methods so that the right level of quality can be obtained for air density and the correct control parameters used in production both in the factory and on the building site.
