AI breakfast in Lycksele

Published: 13 May 2019

On May 7, the project Datacenter Innovation Region arranged a AI breakfast meeting in Lycksele.

Artificial intelligence is something that is increasingly affecting business and social functions. Many believe that within a handful of years, AI will greatly changed business models, decision-making, working methods and processes. But what happens locally in Lycksele and how do you get started working with AI? On this technology breakfast we had invited two actors in the area to tell what is going on, planned and thought about Artificial Intelligence. At the event, the participants got to listen to Thomas Kvist, Region Västerbotten, who runs a project in which to work with AI solutions to be stimulated and Johan Lennartsson, founder of Avantgarde Consulting, explained how public activities can take on AI and realize its potential.

The event was a co-arrangement between the municipality of Lycksele, Västerbotten Region, the Data Society in Umeå, the project Näringslivsutveckling i Möjligheternas Region, Datacenter Innovation Region and the Gender Smart Arena projects at Luleå University of Technology
