Launch of the tool Richer Business

Published: 12 June 2020

The digital tool Richer Business has now been launched. The tool aims at providing better gender equality and better business.

More than 50 people from the business community, academia and local authorities participated in the launch. Åsa Wikberg-Nilsson, Luleå University of Technology, guided the audience through the tool.

Richer Business has been developed in collaboration between researchers, companies and municipalities as a part of the Gender Smart Arena project. The tool allows users to self-critically review how their organisation is acting across different scenarios, focusing on six different areas: customer value, capital, competence, collaboration, communication and culture.

The fundamental idea is that inclusive business and organisational models contribute a norm-critical, norm-creative perspective, thereby creating additional opportunities for value generation.

The Gender Smart Arena Project is a collaboration between Luleå University of Technology, businesses and public sector, aiming to contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and job creation in the Norrbotten and Västerbotten regions.

Our goal is to promote new, innovative business and organisational models which can strengthen business, organisational and operative development.

The project is coordinated by the Centre for Distance-Spanning Technology at Luleå University of Technology. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the Norrbotten and Västerbotten regions and the municipalities of Luleå, Piteå and Skellefteå.
