DeCoTrack (Degradation Cost On Track) is a prediction model for railroad track degradation. The model simulates changes in degradation rate of the track due to changes in traffic characteristics. By inputting parameters such as axle load, annual tonnage, speed and mix of vehicle types the model will generate information on the track life length and estimated degradation cost.
