Duration: 2013-2016

The link and effect model is a project on performance measurement of rail infrastructure maintenance. The project consists of two parts, where the first part took place from August 2010 to August 2013. The successor, part two, continued from August 2013 and finished in 2016.

The report consists of six studies on performance measurement of rail infrastructure maintenance. The studies concern: operational availability of rail infrastructure; construction of composite indicators; cost-benefit analysis of preventive and corrective maintenance; track maintenance between trains simulation; performance measurement in an asset and organisational context; and natural language processing of maintenance records.
