Swedish healthcare is being digitized at a rapid pace and the proportion of digital healthcare visits is increasing from year to year. However, digital healthcare services, especially those provided by the private sector, are often seen as controversial and the use of these services is not evenly distributed among the population.

The seminar deals with the emergence of digital care in Sweden, and specifically the various online medical companies' entry into Swedish primary care and how their business models have changed over time. The seminar also highlights the barriers to the use of digital care that older users experience, and what can be done about them.
