What is a study circle MOOC+

MOOC, Massive Open Online Course, is a free digital course that is open to everyone and is completed individually at your convenience. The Luleå University of Technology has created MOOCs in several different areas.

What does MOOC+ mean?

MOOC+ is a developed form where, like a traditional MOOC, you complete the course individually over three weeks, approximately 4 hours/per week.
In addition to the self-studies, you also get to meet other participants online to discuss various points and insights connected to the course content, like a study circle. A course with a plus menu simply.
The meetings are supervised and moderated by the teacher who created the course.
The meetings are held on four occasions, in the form of a start-up and end webinar, as well as a webinar after each course week. The digital self-studies are in English, but the meetings are in Swedish.

Who can participate?

MOOC+ is aimed at managers and employees in small and medium-sized companies in northern Sweden (Norrland). As an employer, you can let several employees take the course and decide whether you complete all parts together or only when the teacher is present in real-time.
