Researchers at Luleå University of Technology get top ranks

Three professors in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Economics have been ranked among the best in Sweden by the ranking site research.com.

Vinit Parida and Johan Frishammar, both professors in Entreprenurship and Innovation are ranked as no 4 and no 22 within their field in Sweden (358 respectively 1370 in the world). Patrik Söderholm, Professor in Economics, is ranked as no 10 in Sweden and 1081 in the world.

Research.com is a ranking site for research within Business and Management, Computer Science, Economics and Finance and Mathematics. The ranking of researchers is based on Google Scholar’s so called h-index, which is a metric related to the number of citations and number of publications indicating the significance of a scientist’s cumulative research contributions. The site also contains rankings of conferences, journals and universities within the fields mentioned.  The list of top scientists features leading scholars from over 600 universities and research agencies.
