During the programme’s first three years you will study project courses every semester, where you will obtain knowledge concerning sustainable production through both lectures and practical work. Simultaneously, you will study courses that will provide you with basic knowledge in technology and science. Company collaboration is important throughout the entire program, and in all project courses you will be presented with the possibility to contribute to their business development. The work in project form and in close relation to companies allows you to gain skills in communication, project management and business models early on in the programme.","sv":"Under utbildningens första tre år läser du projektkurser varje termin där du skaffar dig kunskap om hållbar produktion genom både föreläsningar och praktiskt arbete. The two master profiles are closely connected to the university’s research and the research areas included in the program. In both profiles, you will participate in real case R&D projects with industry.
Production innovation
To ensure the sustainability and resilience of future production, there is a need for innovation in our current production systems. As the solutions of today are not sustainable enough, the engineers of tomorrow will need to contribute to the development of new ones. It may seem an insurmountable challenge at first, but it becomes manageable with the help of creativity, knowledge, tools and methods. The Master Profile Production Innovation gives you in-depth knowledge of innovation and development of technology that is needed in the production system of the future, including digitization. You will learn to lead design and development work and also become an expert on the innovation process, with an understanding of the technology development’s contribution to sustainable production systems.
Humans, technology and organisation
Attractive, safe, equal and inclusive workplaces are essential for sustainable production systems. The social aspects of sustainable development often run the risk of being neglected when technology development is fast. Therefore, there is a need for engineers with knowledge of individuals in the production (system) and an understanding of the connection between technological and social systems. Attractive workplaces are also a prerequisite for businesses when it comes to recruiting people with the right competence.
\n In the Master Profile Humans, Technology and Organisation we focus on social sustainability and how production systems can be designed to encourage a good work environment, giving individuals the conditions to perform a good job. You will learn to analyze and develop workplaces and organisations in regard to the individuals’ conditions and needs to achieve socially sustainable production systems. You will become an expert in the relationships concerning Humans, Technology and Organisation and sustainable development. The Master Profile will also provide you with the opportunity to specialise in, for example, work environment or organizational development.

Du blir expert på förhållandet människa-teknik-organisation och hållbar utveckling.
