Published: 4 October 2016

Studied Media Design at LTU from 2003 to 2006

What are you working on today and how has the way to the job like? What do you think was the key to right, you got the job?

The same day I took my bachelor's degree I moved to Stockholm and a great company, Humblestorm Event & Communication. I think an important part of why I got the job was because I had firsthand knowledge of one of the company's biggest customers, Telia. Previously bought also the shape services when needed and now saw a way to grow by hiring a graphic artist. I stayed at Humblestorm in 4.5 years, and learned a huge amount by my talented colleagues, an inspiring boss and demanding customers. My position evolved during these years and when I finished, I had a shared service designers and production managers. On Humblestorm I was privileged to work with large companies and clients such as Microsoft, TeliaSonera, Halebop, Intel, Samsung and HP.

During the years in Stockholm was born our son and homesickness for Lulea grew stronger. In February, went to the end of the wagon back and I started working at More Media. An exciting and young company with high ambitions. An employment within six months, was replaced to a delägarroll, manager of a new business and four years later when the company undertook a major reorganization, I took over as CEO.

What is the best thing about your job?

I get to work with something I love, to communicate and to create and manage projects that make a difference - for a city, a region or for a company. To also be able to develop our own company and brand is the icing on the cake, while the challenge. We have dedicated and talented colleagues who do the work to a party every day.

How does it feel to have received the Year award young entrepreneurs in Lulea Business Awards 2016

How good anywhere! It was, and still is, a great honor to be awarded such a prize. A really nice proof that hard work, persistence and being purposeful pays. It has been five instructive years with plenty of challenges that have brought me here. From returning home to Lulea after a few years in Stockholm, and start as an employee at More Media, to start a new business, becoming partners after 6 months and then President from autumn 2015.

What was the best part of studies at the university?

Media Design in Piteå housed in really nice rooms with all kinds of equipment that may be needed. The teachers came directly from industry and one of them is currently a subcontractor to us.

Do you have any advice for future students?
If I would have done anything in my training, I had chosen to settle in Piteå, in the place of training. I luleå girl basically and chose to stay in my current home and commute. Had I lived closer to school, I probably would have taken some of the more activities and union activities.

What's the advantage of your education today?
Media Design was a broad education and I got an insight into many different areas. Everything from the shape and copywriting for television production. Event, as I work with today, is about finding a nice mix of multiple channels.

Tips for students who will enter the labor market:

Network, network and network. Build up good-to-have people around you. People who can advise and recommend you. Utilize the networking opportunities that business provides. Make a list of companies you want to work for and start processing them. Book in personal meetings and convincing!

How do you see the future?

I have always had clear goals that I aimed toward. Whether it was all about family life or career. Just in the same way we work with More Media. We have a vision and we know where we want. Then, much can happen by the way, I've learned as an entrepreneur, and you must be prepared to take out new directions for reaching the goal. But before we reach the moon, we will enjoy another summer in South Beach. One More Media's finest project, implemented in collaboration with the municipality of Luleå. That we to year 2 has succeeded in attracting Photographic become part of the beach is amazing. One of Sweden's strongest brands will be exhibiting perhaps the year's most important photographic exhibition, Icons - an exhibition to exist.
