Successful after-work at House of Science

Published: 6 October 2014

Over 80 alumni met at the House of Science in Luleå Friday October 3 to eat and mingle together. In January 2014 opened the gates for the House of Science, which is a collaboration between Luleå University, LKAB and IVA (Royal Academy. Academy of Engineering Sciences).

The alumni have a go at an after-work together with other alumni from Luleå University was greatly appreciated! Pro-Vice Chancellor Erik Hoglund welcomed all the guests and spoke about the background and purpose of the House of Science, which is a very beautiful building, which houses many details that are protected under the municipal zoning. From having been built in the 50's in order to serve as an entry hall, it is now a place that is open to the public and available to enrich us with science and to be an open place for new meetings.

We ate a good Mediterranean buffet before choir snaps Academy made an acclaimed appearance! Then it was time for coffee and dessert.

Many thanks to all of you alumni who came and was with this after work!
