If you are from a country outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland you have to pay an application fee and a tuition fee for your studies at a higher education institution.

If you are a citizen of a country outside of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, you are required to pay application and tuition fees to study at a university in Sweden. The tuition fee varies. How much you should pay is dependent on the course/programme you are admitted to. The information is available once the application period opens on www.universityadmission.se

Application fee
Students applying for studies through University Admission are required to pay an application fee. This fee must be paid before the application deadline, since the assessment of the application is dependent on payment of the fee.

Tuition Fee Waiver - scholarship programme for current master students
This scholarship is offered for students who study master programmes at Luleå University of Technology. If you are eligible you can apply for tuition fee waivers at the end of the first academic year. The assessment is made based on study progress and merits. Eligible students will be contacted by the responsible coordinator.
